A wonderful razor-sharp, bladed axinite crystal with superb clove-brown color, excellent clarity, and glassy luster. The crystal GLOWS raspberry-red, when backlit! Complete all-around. A choice, two-sided crystal with a trivial bit of edge wear chatter and the contact noted at the base. From the late 1980s to mid 1990s finds. These Puiva axinites set the world-wide standard for the species and are seldom available in this quality today. Valued at $1200.
