Item Description

Bright turquoise-blue aurichalcite radial aggregates are coated with sparkly drusy quartz on this impressive, rich and colorful from a small find in mid-2011. We were offered a small lot of these from Northern Burma, which contained this one large specimen of quality and a number of mediocre specimens of smaller size and less coverage. Some bruising is present, but has very minimal impact to the rarity of this piece. We have not yet seen better from here. The find reportedly was made at a small copper mine in Northern Burma, near the border with China. The specimens then were bought and resold to me within China. We are still waiting to get an exact locality, but more details and specimens seem hard to obtain. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for freee.
