Item Description

Aurichalcite is relatively uncommon from the famous mines at Bisbee. This is a colorful and excellent, two-sided combination specimen. Glassy, bright mint-green, acicular aurichalcite needles fully line two isolated, scultpural vugs on the front of the piece. The 5.5 cm vug on the back is with lined glassy, colorless hemimorphite crystals, some of which are included with aurichalcite. This is a very uncommon association specimen from this classic locale and is almost certainly old-time material, dating to prior to World War I. Ex Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection. RARE
