Item Description
Mineral specimens of any variety are rare from this old mining district and aurichalcite is extremely rare. Vibrant, teal-blue aurichalcite is richly evident on all sides of the striking, sculptural, layered and vuggy gossan matrix. The aurichalcite is included is glassy, translucent, hemimorphite crystals and also forms thin crusts and layers. Many of the vugs are lined with glassy, colorless, hemimorphite crystals, of which, Rezbanya is the Type Locality. Very rare, undoubtably old combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock and comes with a faded Schortman's label. Herb valed this rarity at $400, five or more years ago.
