Item Description

Gorgeous tufted sprays of turquoise-blue aurichalcite needles are a US and Arizona classic. This is a very fine, large ORIGINAL 79 Mine specimen, not from the more recent mining that has gone on there, producing a modest number of specimens. The aurichalcites are beautifully complimented by the rich lining of spherical aggregates of glassy hemimorphite blades in the very sculptural, study gossan matrix. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and purchased from J.P. Cand in 1977 for 125 Swiss francs. Outstanding older combination material.
