Aurichalcite (ex Willard Wulff Collection)

Item Description

A cool and classic Aurichalcite specimen from the famous Ojuela mine in Mexico. The piece is filled with bright greenish-blue, acicular crystals with blue-green Rosasite on Limonite matrix. A good small cabinet sized piece of this well known zinc copper carbonate. This specimen comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936.
