Item Description

A classic example of Aurichalcite from the famous 79 Mine featuring gorgeous vibrant greenish-blue colored "sprays" measuring up to about 5 mm across, sitting atop sparkling, colorless Hemimorphite with tiny Calcite crystals on matrix. The "sprays" are beautiful up close with delicate, tiny "needles" comprising each radial burst. We found one tiny blue "ball" that doesn't appear to be Aurichalcite, perhaps Rosasite? Wonderful well-known material from this significant Arizona locality.
