Aurichalcite

Item Description

Aurichalcite is a well known zinc copper hydroxy carbonate and the Bingham area is a great locality for the species. This piece features beautiful, bluis green "tuft"-like crystals of Aurichalcite sitting on a think layer of Quartz matrix forming a striking and colorful small cabinet specimen from this well-known locality. The color is bright and rich for the species. The underside of the specimen shows small areas of Malachite, Linarite and Brochanite.
