Item Description
A wonderful, and hard to find specimen of "Fassaite" from the famous Traversella Mine in northwestern Italy. Fassaite is a low iron Augite that was named after the Fassa Valley in Italy. This piece is a good representative specimen of Fassaite hosting deep grey-green, monoclinic crystals on matrix. A good reference piece of this relatively obscure material. Ex Rich Kosnar Collection.
