This material was some of the first Augelite to come out of Bolivia in a long time when it hit the market in the early 2000s. This robust and showy cabinet sized display piece features many sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy crystals of Augelite measuring up to 9 mm (very good sized for the locality) associated with attractive, distinctive, greenish-brown compressed rhombohedra of Siderite measuring up to 2.7 cm across, plus lustrous (and partially oxidized) octahedral Pyrite sitting on micro Quartz matrix. This is definitely one of the showier and finer quality specimens of Augelite we've offered from Tasna in a long time, because it displays well from several angles, and it's not just a "lump". It's a very good quality piece for the species, and the associations make it very desirable for collectors.
