These are some of the best Augelite crystals from Bolivia to hit the mineral market in a long time. This piece features many fine, sharp, lustrous, colorless, gemmy to translucent crystals of Augelite measuring up to 6 mm associated with minor Quartz and octahedral Pyrite on matrix. The quality of the Augelite crystals is very good and they are certainly decent sized for this mine. This rare phosphate mineral is not seen often in any format from any locality on the market. It's not easy to find good crystallized Augelites on matrix from Bolivia anymore, and this piece dates back about 15 years ago when some of the best pieces were coming out of Machacamarca.
