This find of augellite specimens in 2012-14 at the Mundo Nuevo Mine is considered to be the finest of the species. Sharp, rich green, glassy, translucent crystals, to 1.4 cm are attractively clustered with sprays of quartz points atop the large, vuggy shipshape matrix. Not too many specimens were found, so here is your chance to get a large and rich, highly representative example of the species and find at a reasonable price point. Valued at $600-750.
