Mundo Nuevo Mine augelite specimens from this 2012 find at considered to be the finest examples of the species. This is a superb competition-level thumbnail from the find. Four, intergrown, sharp, gemmy and lustrous, gorgeous apple-green prisms are adorably perched on a fabulous bowtie of three water-clear quartz crystals (two are doubly terminated). The compostion and color contrast of this cutie is remarkable. Augelite is an uncommon phosphate. Valued at $200-300 or more and worth it.
