Item Description
These are some of the best Augelite crystals to hit the mineral market in a long time. This piece features an impressive, sharp, lustrous, colorless/white (iron-stained) twinned crystal of Augelite measuring 3.1 cm associated with micro Siderite crystals which have been replaced by Hematite on matrix. The quality of the Augelite twin is good for the material, and it is one of the largest crystals I've seen from this mine. The fact that it's flaring upwards off the matrix, and not laying flat like so many others is significant. This rare phosphate mineral is not seen often in any format from any locality! The retail value on this specimen is $600.
