Item Description

These are some of the best Augelite crystals to hit the mineral market in a long time, especially from Bolivia. This piece features a pair of rather large, fine, sharp, very lustrous, colorless/white iron-stained, translucent crystal of Augelite measuring up to 2.7 cm on matrix. The quality of the Augelite crystals is good and the big one is one of the largest crystals I've seen from this mine. Minor rhombic Siderite "rosettes" makes for anice otuch. This rare phosphate mineral is not seen often in any format from any locality in crystals this size! The retail value on this specimen is $500. Hard to photograph, but better in person.
