Item Description
These are some of the best Augelite crystals to hit the mineral market in a long time. This piece features a few rarther large, fine, sharp, very lustrous, colorless/white, translucent crystals of Augelite measuring up to 1.8 cm on matrix. The largest of the Augelite crystals is actually twinned, and is superb quality for the species and the locality. There are also some smaller secondary Augelites on the piece as well, and as you can see from the photos, it's fairly aesthetic to boot. This rare phosphate mineral is not seen often in any format from any locality. The retail value on this specimen is $700.
