Item Description

This specimen was collected in 2004, and the pieces from this find were some of the best Bolivian Augelite crystals to hit the mineral market in a long time. This piece features several fine, sharp, lustrous, colorless, gemmy crystals of Augelite measuring up to 5 mm associated with blocky whitish Barite crystals and sitting atop small Quartz crystals on matrix. This rare phosphate mineral is not seen often in any format from any locality, and for a Bolivian Augelite, this is a good representative piece.
