Item Description
An unusual and somewhat unlikely specimen of Atacamite from near Casa Grande, Arizona. The piece is a core sample (you can see the rounded exterior on the outer edge where the drill bit cut the piece away from the rock underground. You can see several small bright emerald green Atacamite crystals on the inner edge of the specimen. The older label that accompanies the piece states that it was "mined" in 1960.
