Item Description
A colorful association specimen of the soon-to-be-classic pieces from the Lily Mine in Peru. This small cabinet features thin, lustrous prisms of dark green Atacamite measuring up to 6 mm, sitting atop spherical groups of stark blue colored Chrysocolla, which have a thin sugary / drusy coated of colorless Quartz for a very pleasing effect. Minor gem quality, colorless Calcites can be seen sprinkled around the edges of the piece for a nice touch. Some of the tiny Atacamites are actually a bit gemmy when backlit, and we've done our best to illustrate the quality in the micro photos. A lovely specimen of this material that is fast disappearing from the market.
