Item Description

A classic, and rich display specimen of Atacamite from the type locality for the species. This is an old specimen (approximately 50 years) and is loaded with dozens of sparkling, almost wet-looking, rich emerald green, rather gemmy, bladed crystals on matrix. The piece is associated with minor Malachite and Chrysocolla as well. A great, colorful "old time" specimen of this beloved Copper Hydroxyhalide. Pieces of this size and quality are not easy to find on the market anymore, so don't miss out on this colorful and richly covered display specimen.
