Atacamite (old material)

Item Description

This piece comes from an old East Coast collection, with an historic label from the legendary mineral dealer, Hugh A. Ford. Since the label has Ford's New York address it dates to 1946-1957. Notably sharp, lustrous and well-formed crystals of deep forest green Atacamite measuring up to 3 mm can be seen all over the display side of this beautiful specimen. Only a tiny bit of damage, and SO attractive up close. Great old historic material from this now closed world famous locality.
