Classic bronze colored layered / foliated crystals of Astrophyllite free of matrix from the famous Eveslogchorr Mt locality in Russia. This is a rich specimen with good quality crystals, seldom seen on the market today. You don't see a lot of pieces off matrix like this, and this is certainly a great example of these classic specimens. From the collection of Richard Rossi, an East Coast collector and longtime Fellow and supporter of the Mineralogical Record and the community.
