Item Description

Classic bronze colored prismatic crystals of Astrophyllite measuring up to 2.2 cm long on host rock matrix from the famous Kola Peninsula in Russia. This is a rich specimen with good quality crytals, seldom seen on the market today. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2601). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
