Item Description

For some time, "Endlichite" was considered a species, but is now classified as an Arsenic-bearing variety of Vanadinite. This lovely display specimen hosts dozens of classic, rather lustrous, chocolate brown colored, almost metallic looking, thin prismatic crystals of "Endlichite" on matrix. The "Endlichite" crystals have a light curve to them, which is very distinctive for this mine. A very graceful specimen, and virtually damage free on the display side. The largest crystal measures 5 mm. I have not seen anything in way of these specimens (except in old collections), and every good Mexican collection, should have a nice "Endlichite" like this in them. Ex Wouter Van Tichelen Collection.
