Item Description
Light green arsentsumebite has pseudomorphed a dense nest of nifty small mimetite prisms that fill a vug, that spills over onto the back side of this hefty for the size miniature. The right "arm" has a cluster of malachite after azurite crystals. Scattered about are a few thin, glassy wulfenite blades, as a super accent. Darker green bayldonite is present and the hefty underlying matrix is probably anglesite. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Previously in the Scott Williams Collection and is an "old" specimen, according to Bob's label. Undoubtably from the Upper Oxidized Zone in the early 1900s according to a friendly expert, Dr. Robert Bowell, who examined the piece for me. A fine combination rarity and pseudomorph from Tsumeb. valued $2000
