Item Description

Arsentsumebite is rare compound Pb-Cu arsenate with the world's finest examples coming from the renowned namesake Type Locality. This is a super rich, rare and outstanding old-time specimen from the Upper Oxidized Zone and probably dates to prior to World War I (1900-1910 or so). Sparkly emerald-green microcrystalline arsentsumebite has a coral-like form. Scattered sharp azurite crystals and malachite pseudos after azurite add color and pizzazz. A GREAT RARITY is the very nifty 2.3 cm spray of arsentsumebite replacements after elongated mimetite crystals. SELDOM on the market in this size, richness and rare combination quality. Valued at $2500 as is but frankly I think you could trim it in half and value each half about the same.
