Arsenopyrite with Quartz and Sphalerite (ex Josef Vajdak)

Item Description

A classic old time piece from Pribram featuring what is essentially radial "sprays" of thin prismatic grey colored Arsenopyrite crystals intergrown with colorless gemmy Quartz crystals. If you look closely, you can see small striated crystals of black-grey colored Sphalerite scattered around here and there. The largest Arsenopyrite measures 7 mm long. Some crystals are broken, but many are undamaged. Hard to find material from this famous old mining district.
