Item Description

A beautiful specimen from the Stari Trg Mine in the Trepca Complex in Kosovo featuring dozens of silvery-grey, metallic crystals of Arsenopyrite measuring up to 7 mm, featuring small prismatic white Quartz crystals, and a bit of iron-stained Siderite. The underside of the piece features a bit of massive golden Pyrite. The piece is in good shape overall, with some bruises, but still attractive. A nice piece from this giant lead-zinc-silver deposit located on the slopes of Kopaonik Mountain. The complex comprises over 40 individual mines, but the major producer of fine specimens is the Stari Trg Mine.
