Item Description

About 30 years ago, there were a handful of very good quality Arsenopyrite specimens on the market from the San Jose mine, but they all seemed to have dried up. This piece features excellent quality sharp, bright, prismatic Arsenopyrite crystals with very sharp, lustrous, cubic golden Pyrite replacing on matrix The largest Pyrite crystal measures 1.0 cm on edge. A good association specimen of this somewhat hard to find material. If you're a Bolivian mineral collector, this is a great opportunity to pick up something that is difficult to find on the market. This piece was mined in 1980 and is a great example of this old material from one of the most famous mines in the Bolivian tin belt.
