Item Description
Brilliant luster silver-metallic diamond-shaped arsenopyrite crystals dramatically cover all sides of this striking and sculptural 360-degree orbicular small cabinet combination from the historic Stari Trg Mine at Trepca. One side is enhanced with a rich concentration of larger white calcite rhombohedrons, that are partially coated with contrasting sparkly, tan siderite microcrystals. Small calcites are peppered all about the piece and there a few scattered lustrous black sphalerite crystals, as well. The calcite fluoresces pink under LW UV light. A very showy and hefty for the size ore specimen, as the matrix is arsenopyrite, pyrite and quartz. Ex De Natura (Les Presmyk) dealer stock.
