Item Description

Exceptional, VERY RARE Arsenopyrite from this extinct Idaho mine, well-known for world-class Ilvaite specimens. Sharp, brilliant metallic-luster pseudo-orthorhombic arsenopyrite crystals, to 9 mm, are densely and aesthetically intergrown on the very sculptural mounded two-sided miniature specimen. RARE frosted Quartz crystals on one side and end are a super accessory. Self-collected by Bart Cannon in 1983, according to his label. Bart is a well-known NW USA mineral and field collector and dealer. These are world-class sharp and bright arsenopyrites, comparing favorably with those from the Yaogangxian, Trepca and Dalnegorsk mines.
