Item Description

A classic and sculptural pseudomorph from the famous mines at Santa Eulalia and the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection. Sharp, lustrous, brassy arsenopyrite crystals have replaced sharply tapered pyrrhotite crystals, to 4.2 cm. A fascinating 360-degree pseudo. The one bruised tip is certainly only a modest detraction to this showy and highly representative example from the 1960s-70s finds. Seldom on the market.
