Arsenopyrite on Sphalerite (RARE Montana locale)

Item Description

Mineral specimens of ANY species are extremely rare from any of the three mixed sulfide localities listed in MINDAT for Lincoln County, Montana. Splendent, sharp, silver-metallic arsenopyrite crystals are dramatically scattered across the top of the earthy massive sphalerite matrix. The striking large crystal is 1.4 cm tall. Ex Eugene Carmichael Collection and comes with an older faded label.
