Arsenopyrite on schist (rare) Kay Robertson Coll.

Item Description

Rich, large arsenopyrite specimens are RARE from Platta, Switzerland. Sharp, lustrous, metallic crystals and crystal clusters, to 6 mm (single crystal) are sprinkled on all sides of the laminated schist matrix. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 9592 and acquired in Zurich in May, 1982. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). A must for the species or locality collector.
