An excellent and classic old arsenopyrite specimen from the ancient silver mines at Freiberg. A striking, 2.6 cm, sharp, lustrous, metallic gray blocky compound spearpoint dominates the specimen of smaller crystals on the matrix of massive arsenopyrite. The crystals are aesthetically accented with sprays of tiny quartz crystals. Specimens of this richness and quality are seldom on the market. The last mine closed in 1969.
