Item Description

A fine old classic specimen from the Freiberg District featuring a nearly 100% solid group of sharp, well-formed, silvery colored crystals of Arsenopyrite, and no matrix. The Arsenopyrites range up to 1.1 cm long. A very showy and good quality display specimen from these ancient silver mines Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#195). Kay was a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics. She nearly lived 100 years from April 1920 - March 2020.
