Item Description
A classic old-time specimen of Arsenopyrite from the famous Panasqueira Mines in Portugal. This piece dates back to the 1960s-1970s and features a tightly intergrown cluster of relatively sharp, well-formed, silvery-grey metallic crystals, free of matrix. The piece actually sits well on its own without the aid of a base or clay. There are some rough spots, so the piece is not damage-free, but it's still a nice representation of these well-known pieces from one of the most famous localities in Portugal and all of Europe.
