Item Description

Very fine combination specimen featuring Arsenopyrite, Galena, and Calcite from the famous Freiberg District. The brassy Arsenopyrites are sharp and range up to 8 mm, the Galenas are lustrous and nicely modified, and the Calcites are prismatic, well-terminated, and number in the hundreds. An aesthetic, classic, and venerable combination specimen from these ancient silver mines, this was #4343 in Kay's collection.
