Item Description
First-rate combination piece from the famous Yaogangxian Mine, with every mineral in this piece well-represented. The Arsenopyrites, I think, are superb. You have a large (3.3 cm), tabular Arsenopyrite with superb luster and super-sharp cockscomb terminations. Attached to it on the side is a partial, equally lustrous Arsenopyrite. The rest of the specimen consists of two gemmy Quartz crystals in front, the largest of which is a 3.5 cm reverse sceptor, and nestled between all three is a lovely, light purple 1.6 cm gemmy Fluorite. The Fluorite has very good fluorescence. The balance and aesthetics are excellent. One of my favorite pieces from here for the size range.
