Item Description

A showy and excellent large combination piece from Panasqueira. Intergrown jackstraw clusters of lustrous silver-metallic arsenopyrite blades accented with clusters of lustrous, translucent, two-toned green, fluorapatite crystals, a single quartz point and numerous siderite rhomb clusters form a sculptural two-sided specimen. Arsenopyrites reach 5.0 cm, fluorapatites 1.5 cm and the quartz is 4.0 cm long. The presentation face is in great shape, with only one gently bruised fluorapatite and a trivial bit of bruising to the arsenopyrites. Off-white to yellow fluorapatite fluorescence. Classic combination material from the Bob Trimingham Collection and formerly in the Paul Patchick Collection.
