Arsenopyrite crystals from the famous Yaogangxian Mine are world-class and compare favorably with specimens from Panasqueira or Mexico. Intergrown, splendent, sharp, metallic-gray, arsenopyrite crystals comprise this impressive cluster. The striking large compound crystal is 6.2 cm, large for the locale. Many of the crystals also have classic, textbook cogwheel terminations. This is a high-class specimen from this noted locale. Valued at $350. Ex Schlichter Collection.
