Mineral specimens are uncommon from this extinct Ag-polymetallic mining district with arsenopyrite specimens being the signature available species. Two impressive intergrown doubly terminated calcite scalenohedrons are dramatically and aesthetically set upright on the silvery, bright arsenopyrite crystal matrix on this RARE small cabinet combination. The pristine, translucent calcites have frosted satin lustre faces. An outstanding 360-degree combination from Parral. Classic, RARE 1960s-70s material from the J.G. Dixon and Tom Wolfe Collections. Pink calcite fluorescence.
