Item Description

Scintillating, brassy, pyrite microcrystals preferentially coat two intergrown arsenopyrite crystals on this showy and excellent combination specimen from the Art Soregaroli Collection and this famous locale. The crystals rest on pearlescent muscovite blades festooned with contrasting calcite rhombs and quartz crystals. The thin dense and hefty basal plate is microcrystalline sulfides. This fine and unusual piece looks great from either direction.
