Item Description
Two, well-formed Arsenopyrite crystals grace the top of this miniature from the copper mines of Zacatecas, Mexico (probably prior to 1980). Both Arsenopyrite crystals are doubly terminated and exhibit mirror-like metallic luster with sharp faces and edges displaying some complex geometric growth forms on the faces. The altered matrix contains irregular blebs and veinlets of Sphalerite, Quartz and a couple of other unidentifiable minerals. A great old-timer for Zacatecas!
