Arsenopyrite

I realize this mine is best known for its Fluorite specimens, but it has produced some of my favorite Arsenopyrites from any locality. This piece features beautiful, lustruos, blocky crystals of sharp, metallic silver colored Arsenopyrite free of matrix. Minor Quartz and Cassiterite can be seen on the back of the piece. I have not seen many specimens with this attractive form, and it must be said that fewer and fewer pieces have been coming out of this mine in recent years, so don't miss out. The largest crystal measures 1.3 cm.
