Arsenic-bearing Vanadinite ("Endlichite") (ex Richard Rossi Collection)

You might see the term "Endlichite" on old labels, as this was once a valid species, but it's now classified as an arsenic-bearing variety of Vanadinite. This lovely three-dimensional miniature sized specimen hosts many classic, deep golden-bronze colored, almost metallic looking, hexagonal, prismatic crystals of "Endlichite" measuring up to 8 mm long on matrix. The crystals show slight skeletal growth, and some are essentially hollow in the center. Certainly an eye-catching specimen, and good quality on the display side. There are a few minor nicks, but it's in good condition all around. I have not seen anything in way of these specimens (except in old collections), and every good Mexican collection, should have a nice "Endlichite" like this in them.
