Item Description
From a single find in 1988, these are some of the most sought after specimens from the Ojuela Mine due to their fantastic color. This piece is a fantastic thumbnail featuring a few superb quality, gemmy, gorgeous green botryoidal groups of Arsendescloizite measuring up to 8 mm across sitting on minor oxidized matrix. The label accompanying the piece states that Mimetite is present, but I can't see anything with the naked eye. Several of the "balls" are undamaged, though the periphery is contacted where it was trimmed away from the pocket wall. A great example of this elusive material from one of the premier specimens producing localities in all of Mexico.
