Arfvedsonite ps. Aegirine on Feldspar & Quartz

aegirine from this remote locality has set new standards for the species. However, the rarer mineral Arfvedsonite is also found here, as dark green crystals of a different habit and style. Here, we have a unique specimen where the large tabular crystal of aegirine has been pseudomorphed (replaced) by green arfvedsonite, while preserving the original crystal form of the aegirine. It is sitting perched on attractive feldspar and quartz matrix.
