Stunning jackstraw sprays of long, glassy, aragonite needles fill a large, impressive and sculptural geode on this outstanding specimen from Indiana. The needles reach about 7.5 cm! The piece is from near Bloomington, the county seat of Monroe County. Undoubtably older material, specimens of this quality are very rare. Super white fluorescence. A must for the species or locality collector. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $175, for free. Valued at $900-1200. VERY RARE locality piece!
