Aragonite and dolomite combination specimen are rare and uncommon on the market from the famous iron mines of Cumbria. Dramatic, intergrown, graduated clusters of aragonite spires are preferentially dusted with scintillating hematite on the back and rest matrix covered with tan, saddle-shaped, dolomite rhombs. The sparkly, translucent, aragonite spires have nifty, intense stepped-growth faces. Amazingly, only one gently cleaved tip is noted, in all of the many.
